A tractor in the distance.  The wide open spaces.

Town names in Texas are hard to pronounce.
 This town is pronounced Kitty Quay

It is easy to make a wrong turn  in Texas and the roads come to an abrupt end.

We saw many lost dreams on the road.

JAMES' And ALICE'S MAGNIFICENT HILL

Dan and I took a little ride today to check out James' and Alice's hill.

 This is their house looking from below.  You can see the red roof and an old mine which looks somewhat closer than it really is.

You can see the hill as you drive up to their home.  Their house is just out of the photo on the lower end of the hill.

This is a front view of their magnificent hill looking straight on.

As we drove down in the valley we saw the rock formations.

From below you can sense the size and scale of this hill.
